Who Says Vintage Toy Trucks Are Just For Little Boys!


We are going to let you into a little secret ~ vintage toy trucks are not just for little boys any more! Old toy trucks are great for displaying and storing treasures.  They can be used as a caddy for utensils, business cards, pictures, flowers, sewing spools – the list goes on and on and on.

We’ve decided to share with everyone our most favorite ways to re-purpose old toy trucks – we’ve managed to narrow it down to 5!!  The possibilities are endless so maybe you’ll be lucky enough to sneak more than one into your home! We’re going to try all five!

1. Fabulous vintage flower display

If you are like us, we simply love how vintage treasures can be re-purposed into vintage flower displays and old toy trucks are no exception!  In fact, we must say that this is our favourite way to make use of vintage toy trucks!

2. Super storage solution for sewing supplies

Unusual, quirky and fun but practical as well, sewing supplies can be organised and displayed beautifully like this!

3. Quirky business card holder

Why go for the norm and make use of dull, plastic business card holders!  This will definitely catch your customers eye when set out on display on your counter or desk!  Genius!

4. Charming Vintage Christmas Display

Old trucks make the most stunning Christmas displays! The bright festive colors make them ideal for creating charming vintage Christmas displays – a definite talking point with family and friends over the festive period.

5. Wonderful rustic garden planter

Who knew that an old rustic toy truck could make the most wonderful garden planter?  We love anything old, rusted and worn and this little truck is no exception.  We don’t know about you but we will most definitely be giving this idea a try!
